LRFP Open House - Thursday, April 4
An open house for the Long Range Facilities Plan (LRFP) has been scheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2019 at MacNeill Secondary from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The Board of Education as well as District staff will be in attendance to discuss the LRFP and answer questions.
The fundamental premise of a Long Range Facilities Plan is to provide a mechanism for districts to demonstrate they are managing their facilities in an effective, economic and efficient way in support of their educational goals. The Long Range Facilities Plan places the need for school facilities in a district-wide context and becomes the basis for submission of school facility requests by the District and for investment decisions by the Ministry.
The Richmond School District encourages the public to attend the open house and provide their input.
