Long Range Facilities Plan School Closure Process

Consultation has concluded

In most of Richmond declining neighbourhood enrolment has resulted in under utilization of school capacity. In some schools student populations are so small that the School District cannot offer the optimal range of programs. Trustees need to make a decision on which schools to close to ensure facilities are used in an effective and fiscally responsible way.

We want to hear from you as we gather information to inform our decisions and make our way through this process. Please be advised that you may not receive a direct response. Please be assured that your communication has been forwarded to the Long Range Facilities Plan process. We appreciate your input.
